Born in Kuwait, Mashaan was captivated by the arts from a young age. Despite his family's disapproval, he nurtured his artistic talents in private, spending countless hours creating art, music, and literature. His academic performance suffered as a result, but Mashaan's passion for the arts remained undeterred.
Growing up in the Middle East, Mashaan developed a deep appreciation for American music. He would meticulously craft mixtapes of his favorite tracks, often heard on the radio. Unfortunately, his unique interests and individuality made it challenging for both him and his peers to relate to one another. Consequently, he sought comfort in creativity.
At 18, driven by challenges at home and school, Mashaan left home to pursue a career in music, bringing only his Walkman and CDs. However, he was eventually found and returned home. Despite facing continuous academic challenges in high school and college, Mashaan persevered in creating music, art, and literature throughout this tumultuous period.
Eventually, Mashaan earned a BSc. in Computer Science in 2018, and despite his educational accomplishments, he remained steadfast in his pursuit of artistic expression. To him, creativity represents freedom – a necessity akin to breathing. Mashaan's goal is to experience freedom through creativity and improve people's lives with his works and performances.
